The 1990’s were truly a decade where music had a major influence on fashion. The Grunge movement in music was rooted in Seattle, WA and was the starting point for many of the biggest bands of the time: Nirvana, Pearl Jam, and Alice in Chains are some of our favs.

Naturally, as fashion does, it followed suit and got on board with Flannels, Torn up Denim, and Teen Spirit Florals…pairing it all with Doc Martins or Converse. The Non-Look was The Look, and we loved it! And, the movie we love to see it come alive in the most is Singles.

It was a story of growing up, falling in love, and of course…music. Here’s some of the most memorable images from the movie and  quite possibly one of the best tag lines ever… “Have Fun Stay Single”
