In 1997 Sanctuary was founded in Los Angeles by husband and wife team, Ken and Deb Polanco. With over 20 years of experience, Sanctuary has grown from master pant makers into a full women’s collection. Each collection captures the laid-back aesthetic of California, the effortless attitude of New York, and the adventurous spirit of the world to inspire and guide women through their 24/7 style.

We're constantly working to bring Sanctuary to the forefront of the eco-movement and to be an ever-more socially and environmentally conscious brand.
PRODUCT STATEMENT
Low Impact + Lower Usage. More than half of our products each season are made from sustainable materials and fabrics. We use sustainably sourced cotton, recycled and low-impact fibers and we take care to see that it's treated in low-waste factories, with minimal impact to the environment.
SMART CREATION
Our Smart Creation certification applies to all Sanctuary styles that are made from recycled materials and low-impact fibers that require less water, fewer chemicals and less energy.
